We at Trucup address the widespread lack of
awareness of/education about menstruation,
the taboos over periods, the unaordability/
inaccessibility of menstrual hygiene products,
and the waste produced by single-use pads
and napkins.

to give women in the
village of Latambarcem an
alternative to the
current menstrual hygiene

According to the Village Panchayat of
Latambarcem, there are a total of 3982 women in
the village & more than 60% of the women are neither aware
of the safe practice of period management nor educated
about the same.
